This gorgeous detached period cottage is the perfect property for a canal restoration enthusiast. It is in Pant, Shropshire, just beyond the navigable section of the Montgomery Canal (not in water yet) and will probably be on the towpath side, as it once was. On the ground floor there is a hallway, a cloakroom, a utility room, a breakfast kitchen with an oil fired Rayburn, a dining room with exposed beams, and a living room with stone fireplace and exposed beams. On the first floor there are three double bedrooms and a bathroom. There are delightful private lawned gardens amd a garage cum workshop.
The cottage is on the right in this photograph.
The excellent video here explains the plans to get this section in water.
